Tasrail loco does flying visit to Christchurch

Tasrail loco 2003 visited Christchurch for the opening of the new freight
terminal and was on display to the invited guests.

The loco was painted in the new "corporate" colours of Tasrail which are as
follows:-

Main body colour is a pinky red with a solid yellow stripe around the
hoods.
The Australian flag is enblasoned on the stripe as well as "Tasrail" in
reflective red letters.
There is a placard on the bullbars with Tasrail on it also.
The head stocks are black both ends.

Interestingly there appear to be alot of sound proofing in the cab.  Was
there complaints from crews about the noise in the first two?

It was only in town for the one event and was towed dead loco to Picton
Friday night.
