The only potential problem with using Adelaide terrace for SG trains is that
its a dead end statiion unlike Keswick .
For terminating trains , this doesnt matter, but if GSR are going to run thru
trains like the Ghan from AS to Melb , then it means the train gets reversed
at Adelaide.
No real problem in this , except there seems to be an aversion in running
passenger trains backwards,ie all the seats facing the wrong way around .
I guess you could run thru the train and turn all the seats around or reverse
the train around the triangle ,(you would have to build one near Gaol Loop
somewhere.)
The same problem will exist at Melb if the Ghan continuous on to
Sydney,unless it can be reversed somewhere.
