They also did some work with the supports for the Goulburn St carpark, just
before the trains go underground into the City Circle. At the time, there
was an almighty row between the railways (PTC,SRA, whoknows) as to who
should pay for it - railways said that leaseholders always have to pay for
improvements, council said that they did not need the improvements so why
should they have to pay for them? The matter was resolved by the railways
jacking up the rental for the airrights.
