Do they really? So you honestly believe that replacing 4 very visible
platform indicators and 1 concourse indicator with 1 set of old boards (they
are repainted though...oooh) is the way to go?	The board has been located at
the entrance adjacent to platform 1, so if you do happen to be on lesser-used
platforms 2, 3 or 4 you have no info whatsoever.

Furthermore, the day I saw it the board it was not accompanied with any new
announcements whatsoever. Again, another waste of money. The DVA is bought
by CityRail with obvious intention for its use but it seems a hell of a lot
of station staff don't know how to operate it or, more than likely, cannot
give a stuff using it.	How much does the DVA system cost to be installed at
a station I wonder? And it seems CityRail doesn't put its foot down about
compulsory CORRECT use of such equipment - a prime example is the non-use or
wrong-use of boards on the front of the CityDeckers.

This is where I fail to understand CityRail's logic. If a department store
doesn't advertise or give details of its goods for sale it loses customers.
The same case applies for transit systems anywhere in the world. The sooner
we get centralised SPI systems like The Met's, perhaps with limited
interaction from station staff, then and only then we may be able to look
forward to more accurate information.
