Thanks to all the people who sent me comments about the videos. It appears
that "Diesel Diary Volume One" is very popular, and the preview at the end
of the tape of the material to be included in future volumes of Diesel
Diary has generated a lot of interest. Here is a brief overview of the
content of the next few volumes of Diesel Diary.

Diesel Diary 2. To be released Sept. 98.
Mainline action Picton to Junee. 48s on the line to Willbrigge.
422s on the fruit express from Griffith. 48s on the morning freight from
Nowra that ran during the early 1990s. The transfer of 421 class locos from
Junee to Casino in October 1996. Heavy load trials of NR1 (still in grey
undercoat) over the Liverpool ranges.

Diesel Diary 3. To be released March 99.
48s on the lines to Coonamble and Cobar. A segment on Victorian C class
locos working in NSW lashed up with a variety of NSW locos including
working on the Parkes - Cootamundra line.
49s working around Sydney. A pair of candy 48s hauling a tour to Kandos.

Diesel Diary 4. To be released September 99.
This tape concentrates primarily on a trip from Maitland to Moree made to
record the 442 class locos during their last weeks of mainline service.
These locos (and others) are seen on heavy wheat trains, banking duties
over the Liverpool Ranges, etc.

The above tapes have already been completed. Each is an hour in duration. I
have enough good footage "in the can" (including most recently spectacular
scenes of 48s running on the Gwabegar line) at the present time for another
six tapes so I plan to keep the series going for a number of years.

I hope all the above answers most of your questions,

Regards,

Bevan Wall.
