Sale of QR 1700 class loco fleet to New Zealand

Apparently QR have sold the 10 remaining 1700 class locos to New Zealand
(Tazrail?).
1705 has a bent frame (after colliding with IMU set 101 at Maryborough
West) so it won't be going and 1706 was written off after an accident a
number of years ago.
Does this mean no 1700 class will be kept for preservation?
Also heard is that QR are to soon store their remaining 1502 class locos
at Banyo (approx. 25 remaining). Does anyone know what will happen to
them? (Maybe sold?).
