Railfan books and articfacts

Are there any groups, either in Australia or overseas, where railfans
discuss/review new book titles. Are there any groups which discuss the market
for and prices asked for various railway artifacts? What experience have
local railfans had trying to sell off the various items of junk/treasure
they've accumulated over the years?
