"New" NRC Car Carrying wagons

Gday all.
Noted in NRC Melbourne Freight Centre Tuesday 5/5/1998 were two
car carrying wagons - RMTY 36 and RMTY 38. These were formerly
RMBY, VMBY, VMBX, ALX, MLX wagons. They have been coccooned in a
thick plastic sheathing, complete with roof and butterfly doors
at each end. Colour scheme is a bluish green/grey with "TDG
Distribution" titles. No idea where the conversions were done
but was informed they may have been done at Goninan Bendigo.
Anyone know more??
