Photographic Locations

I am planning to photograph the double 38s on Sunday and thought somewhere
just north of Strathfield would be best, as I don't want to travel too far
from home. What is the access and elevation like at the north-east side of
Meadowbank Bridge? I will be taking video and slides and prefer a decent
length of track preferably not downhill. The other spots I thought of were
the footbridge at Rhodes to get it coming and going, or the road overbridge
near Rhodes. I have only been through this area by train in recent years and
don't know what the access is like from the road. Any assistance greatly
appreciated.
