It would seem that Austrac may have hade some "possible" traffic from Young
however this has not happened. They also had a charter for a passenger train
from Young to Cowra however they had one slight problem, no passenger cars.
This charter was done by LVR for LVR. As for 4486 it is owned by the Lachlan
Alco Syndicate and not the LVR but I would suggest that there are several
operational 47 class that are owned by LVR outright and are sitting idle at
present. If the guys out there are correct , then the 47s may soon be active
again on wheat haulage. Does this sound correct Robert?
