Federation Line Transport Link.

Interesting call for tenders in today's (21st March) Canberra Times
calling to conduct a fesability study into the construction and
operation of a Hertitage Tramline in Canberra. The line as mentioned
by somone here a few months ago will run from the city to the National
Museum soon to be constructed on Action penisular (where the old
hospital used to be). It goes on to say the line in the future could
be extended to the War Memorial. Interestingly the tender is to be
returned to the National Film and Sound Archive, and the tender does
not appear to be a 'standard' ACT governement tender indicating to me
that the project doesn't have much to do with them.
