Steamfest / Model Expo

Just a reminder that 1998 Steamfest is approaching. The dates this year are
Sat. 28 and Sun. 29 March. The will be a double headed run with 3801/30 from
Sydney to Maitland, and then returning to Sydney.

As far as steam trains go that's it at Maitland, otherwise you've got some
steam cars/traction engines and market stalls. If you like you can head out
to Richie (Richmond Main) to the Richmond Vale Railway. The RVR is open both
days, and will have the following:

- Steam train service operating all day (SMR 10-class #25 returns to steam
after 2 years, as well as 0-4-0 Marjorie) with unlimited rides for one
admission price.

- Steam Traction Engines

- Steam powered hay baling machinery and farming machinery

A coach service is provided between Maitland and Richmond Main.

At this stage I am unsure wether there are any passenger trains running on
the SMR. Anyone?
