Some new lines around Brisbane that you *think* wouldn't have steam over them
but *have* are:
Wellington Point-Cleveland - due to lack of run around facilities. However I
seem to recall the excursion down there went to Cleveland where a following
diesel pulled the train back to Thorneside so that the steam loco could run
around.
Dual Gauge Yeerongpilly to Fisherman Is branch - however an excursion
advertised 'double running' between the dual guage line and the main line
about 6 months ago.
I also remember something about the stations on the Gold Coast extension not
fitting in the loading gauge for certain rollingstock but I think that was to
do with the heritage rollingstock (ie. when steam went to Helensvale, it
hauled SX carriages instead.)
