The dip in the freight line to go under that bridge is there because they
would have had to raise the roadway for about 20-30 metres either side of the
bridge if they didn't.

The reason for the bridge at Pennant Hills is because, with all of the station
rebuilding schemes, the designers have over-engineered it - it has happened
everywhere, stupid, STUPID designs!
