I'm not 100% certain but I think it was green a yellow band at a time
when the VR F's where maroon with a yellow band.

According to my loco sighting book, I saw SEC 1 at the Newport
Powerhouse and SEC 2 at the Newport Workshops undergoing maintenance
there at around about 1966. The Workshops used to service them for the
SEC.
