Not quite.
The actual works taking place this weekend have been the laying of
tram tracks in concrete on that section of Princes Bridge over the
Yarra. You can still drive up Brunton Avenue and turn right into
Swanston Street (to head northwards). Swanston Street southbound in
blocked off at Flinders Street to stop the inevitable chaos of
everyone doing a u-turn at the tram works because they haven't read
the signs.
