NR radio testing

The sightings are only now being jigsawed together.  After being used in a
bg special to Albury on 23.11.97, Seymour Railway Heritage Centre's blue
BS1 (actually a BRS) was placed on sg.  Some seats were removed;
radio-testing equipment was fitted.   It was taken to Perth and to Brisbane
(also Whyalla and Alice Springs?).  There were no contemporary sightings in
aus.rail, despite the prevalence of posters who are NR drivers.

I had "Gheringhap Loop"'s sighting of it travelling eastbound there on
Mon.9.2.  AFAIK, the Brisbane tour was after this.

A recent Railway Digest has a report of a sighting at Parkes (NSW).

The carriage was used for a Sat.30.5 RTA tour to Vite Vite, then was to be
back on bg for a Mildura tour over Queen's Birthday long weekend
(Fri.5-Mon.8.6).

Can anyone post sightings of this vehicle far from home?
