It is a smaller machine that takes up to $1, and issues and "Authority
to Travel" which is supposed to be exchanged for a ticket at the
destination, when the fare difference has been paid. They were
installed at places like Vineyard and Casula, but due to the isolation
of these locations, have been a target for vandalism.

The original idea, now seemingly abandoned, was that EVERY person
travelling on a train would have either a ticket or one of these
ATTR's.
