I have heard an interesting rumour that the RAAF may allow commercial use of the base Richmond for regional passenger airlines and air freight, much in the same way as WIlliamtown is currently used. The proximity of the railway was cited as one of the factors which may attract passengers and some cargo to Richmond. Cheers David
