MORE QUESTIONS ON W'S....

Some years ago a National Trust classification of the remaining W's 
prevented and sale or scrapping of these cars, which meant many 
were stowed in limbo at the old Newport Workshops. Is this still the 
case, and, if so, have any more W's been moved there in recent times?

Also, any indication of whether or not any W's (bar the City Circle cars) 
will return, and if Swanston or Yarra are interested in running W's as 
part of their respective fleets?

On the subject of City Circle trams, will these cars remain in govt 
hands and continue to provide a free service?
