Re: Never seen steam

Okay, further to the stuff about steam in the loop....

The colleague I mentioned was Bob Evans, he was quite certain J515 had
been through the underground, so he and I made some calls.....

You know how it goes....another noted gunzel also reckoned it had
happened, and suggested we give someone else a call. We did just that,
this time a negative answer. I tried Brian Eaton (involved in many a
steam trip in the last few years), but he didn't recall it ever
happening. So we decided to go to the source - the Seymour Rail
Preservation Group. And the answer was No, it hasn't happened. It was
planned to happen, and did come close, but no, J515 has never been
through the underground.

<tongue in cheek>
Zero credibility is an interesting call from the Editor of a magazine
who alters images of Steamrail locomotives (removing the headboards),
then publishes them as part of a record of history.
</tongue in cheek>

Regards,
Craig.
