8247 on the move

On Thursday 2/7 8247 (Beresfield wreck) started its journey to Kelso by
Road. It was parked on the side of the F3 at Hawksbury River over the
weekend and is making slow progress. All 3 units from the Beresfield
accident will go to Clyde Kelso to be stripped down for a full
evaluation however 8219 will be going in several pieces as it is too
bent and would be too high or too wide to be moved by road. The only
thing that is certain at this stage is that 8219 is a write off however
one or both of the others may be rebuilt depending on the outcome of the
evaluation. There may also be  new units built to replace the write
offs.
