For what it's worth, a new tamper/regulator/stabiliser is to be trialed by RSA on the Main North between Wyong and Morisset this weekend. The new Plasser machine is 75 metres long and rumored to be able to tamp three kilometres per hour (quite a performance). Ben Staples
