How about a bright point in here? I was at Perth Terminal, chatting with a
senior Westrail boss. We were speaking about the new comm's package for the
NR's, which drivers will be trained in, over the next couple of weeks.
The Westrail man said that they would be using the identical system to the
NR. IDENTICAL!
A problem was that the supplier was tied up with the NR contract and
delivery would be delayed. But they would wait, as it was important to try
and achieve a uniform approach to these things, and we would all benefit
from having standard equipment.
Amazing but true!
