I would have to agree with the dates for the openings of the city loop
lines.  I did some research into the architectural patterns of Melbournes
railway stations in 1991 and I saw that the loop was opened 1981 although
only Museum (Melbourne Central) station was open at the time.  Parliament
was then opened in 1983 and Flagstaff in 1985 which was also the year of
the opening of the Northern Loop.
