On a different note, but related to transport to the Tennis centre,
anyone know why the MET has not installed a crossover on Batman Ave so
that trams outbound from the CITY can cross directly to the inboun
line without having change ends and reverse?

I seen some strange movments after the tennis last week. The best
was one tram who arrived just short of the outbound tennis centre
stop, he went to the other end to change to the inbound track, he must
of relised he was too short had to come back drive another 5m or so,
change ends again to cross, change ends yet again to pull into the
inbound stop, and then change again to head towards the city. Very
time consuming. Also why does the MET not have a second drive just to
assit with these movments. It would speed things up a bit, and keep
the natives happy.
