I don't think anyone outside the transport industry would know how stressful it
is looking after passengers who have no comprehension of safety. During the
Olympics, it will be worse, because many of these people will not even speak
English. I can see many transport workers being given stress leave by their
doctors. I think the $100 per day would be an incentive to keep these people at
work.

I also read with amusement that the government is whingeing about the Unions
going back on their promise not to use the Olympics as a bargaining event. How
many things have the government gone back on since they were voted in?

I am a labour supporter, but the present state government of NSW is not a labour
government, they are a conservative government hell bent on getting rid of blue
collar workers.
