So in the transition from paper 3 hour tickets to automatic 2 hour tickets,
we'll have gone from an average travel time of 3.5 hours to exactly 2 hours.

Will 2 hour tickets bought after 6pm (or 7pm) still be valid until the last
regular service? If so, will the ATMs sell a Daily after 6pm, or tell the
customer they can buy a 2 hour ticket at half the price?

Oh yeah... if I remember rightly, when 2 hour tickets first came in about 15
years ago, the ticket had to be valid when you *boarded* the vehicle. Does this
still apply? Does the system check for the last time you validated the ticket?
Or would a fare gate not open for you when leaving a station?

Come to think of it, are MetCard dailies valid for the last regular service of
the night, if the last regular service is after midnight?
