The best way is to get a job (any job) somewhere in the PTC, then
transfer. A friend of mine got a job with MetTram, cleaning trams at one
of the depots. After a few months he transferred to V/Line Passenger to
train as a conductor.
Better do it quickly before it's all sold off.
