Well QR makes a profit after the government gives it several hundred million
dollars subsidy to cover the money they lose on passenger trains, both
suburban and country, low traffic branch lines and freight services other
than bulk freight. I'd be interested to know which passenger trains in Qld
*really* make a profit. Not only that, I'd be interested to know how you
would find that out as the QR annual report does not say.
