Railway branch lines don't seem to stay open for long these days.
Barry Beach was open only from 8th April 1969 and was closed, when?
about 1982? That's 13 years isn't it? It's better than Webb Dock but
not much more so than other dock-side lines. No wonder why governments
are so reluctant to spend money on new rail - it's almost closed when
it's open.
