The ARHS intend to restore the two locomotives and run them as third party
access on QR. A plan to use the Greenvale line was thwarted when QR removed
most of the rail then flood damage finished it off. It is hoped to use the
pair on mainline tours or charters and hopefully they will both run again
for the 50th anniversary of Diesel Electric locomotives in 2002. At present
they have no carriages, the main concern being to preserve the two
locomotives.
