It seems that Countrylink. V-Line and GSR are all replacing their CRS
(Computer Reservation Systems) with new systems prior to 01 Jun 99 -
when bookings commenece for 2000 - so things may not be as
black as you think - except that GSR is adapting a different system to
NSW & Vic - so much for uniformity!

It may even be possible for travel agents to book direct and.
