I simply favour quality rail services and quality includes speed.

Leaving aside the arguments over new services and over the Overland
itself, what cannot be argued is that if the track was in a reasonable
condition much better timings could be achieved. I hope we agree on at
least that.

I won't labour the point but draw everyone's attention to this week's
editions of A Current Affair. I am no great fan of this show but I did
notice a promo suggesting that they are going to run a story on the poor
condition of our tracks sometime this week.

If I miss it will someone please post details.
