I'm not saying that I agree with the policy, but it could help them a little
bit - if you take a train out of service to fix one fault, and two day later
another, different fault shows up, it would be taken out of service again.
If, two days after that, a third, different fault shows up, the train would
have been taken out of service three times in a week. Under the new regime,
all three faults could be worked on at once, thereby saving time. Still,
don't know if I like it - riding around in faulty trains, even if the faults
aren't safety related. It is indicative of the attitude of the management.
