Dry Running of AT equipment will begin on Thursday 23 April 1998. All
validators on routes 55 (68 Sun) 57, 59 & 82 will be operating. TVM's will be
activated at Essendon Tram on the 5th May 1998. AT on W class trams at
Southbank Depot (Routes 12 & 33) will implemented on 28th April 1998 and at
Malvern Depot (Routes 8, 16 & 69) on the 11th May 1998. This will complete
the conversion of Melbourne's Trams to Automated Ticketing.
