On an up service from Hornsby to Central, all stations we struck debris on the
track on the approach span to the Meadowbank bridge. The lead carriage jolted and
bounced. We slowed down and crept into Rhodes, The guard then gave an
announcement, "The train will be delayed for a few minutes because of a signal" I
had to try not to laugh as everyone in the lead car gave each other strange looks.
After arriving at Strathfield I inquired and found out that is was some rather
large bits of stone and stuff. The guard and driver had thought they where in the
dirt for a few seconds, the driver was so scared he actually dropped the dead man
until he realized it was only rocks.

Don't you just love the stories they make up? Especially when the rest of the
train knows that something different has happened.
