NSW CityRail Rolling Stock Classifications

Could some one kindly point me to where I can get information on the
classification of CityRail rolling stock. I keep seeing references to
"V" sets, etc. and I would like to know more about the different groups,
ie are Tangaras seperated by class for surburban and intercity? etc
