What a wanker you are Rod.

Grow up. The MUA's predecessor was on strike during WWII refusing to
load ships. Only when Russia was attacxked did they go back to work!

That's the same union and more today who are still holding Australia
to ransom. No one's against unions, just unpatriotic officers that use
their union power to blackmail all decent Australians who want to make
something of themselves.

Why should waterside workers consider themselves better than everyone
else and not do a fair days work for a fair days pay, make everyone
else pay extra for imports and earn less for exports, be held hostage
by a few hundred workers who are only interested in their selfish
interests and not the good of all Australians.

If what you said is true the ACTU would have called a general strike
and not just given lip service to the dispute. It'd he a brave
President who would have said piss-off to the MUA - you must appear to
be giving some support even when you know the MUA is harming every
other unionist in Australia by its refusal to enter meaningful
negotiations.

Even the ALP knows there a problem an tired to fix up the productivity
problem with a $420 million "bribe" all to no avail.

Cheers

Garry
