Had a chat re the NSU and a bit of a peak.
I have heard subsequent that the engine actually fired and ran for the first
time a week or two ago, that the electrics are ok, and the traction motors have
been fixed up ( and are back in the bogies ready for track striaghtening).
I am told its to be painted maroon with Steamtown on the side (though the light
coat of rust it has sees it in a nice maroon now).
A water pump has been sourced (donated from up north) so she is getting there.
No formal date re a trip out on the track.
When/if I hear, I letyou all know.
