Say again.

Bring the Old Ghan back into town.!
Not sure what photographs have to with it.

Have you any idea how much this would cost to provide dual
gauge concrete sleepers from Todd Junction (Former junction
of the NG and SG) into Alice Springs.?
As a former member of the GPS who pulled out years ago after
seeing the directions it was going in, I can tell you that
this idea is a non starter, AN put the kybosh on it and so
will the new owners of the Line (I am not talking about NRC
here). I suggested that the GPS could lay track alongside
the present SG line as far as the dump level crossing.
This would be close to Heavitree Gap and provide good access
to the Old Ghan, like so many other ideas from myself and
others this was ignored.
