However, this assumes the ATMs and validators are working properly!
Interestingly, how will P.T.C. handle those who claimed the ticketing
machines issued wrong tickets to what they have selected (ie. concession
instead of full fare ticket)? What about the inability to purchase a
zone extension ticket from unmanned stations (ie. a passenger with a
valid daily Zone 1 ticket and like to purhcase a ticket for Zone 2 only
so can travel in Zone 2). As far as I know, such tickets are only
available from station staff and can only be validated in the same zone
as indicated on the ticket (here at Glenferrie, they overcome this
problem by stamp the ticket with a date).
