... and $40 one way Adelaide - Mt Barker by taxi. In an incredible feat
of public transport planning, the first bus from Adelaide to Mt Barker
on the Sunday (when SteamRanger runs) arrives at Mt Barker a few minutes
after the train leaves. The last bus from Mt Barker to Adelaide leaves
Mt Barker s few minutes before the train gets back (from the Victor
Harbour run).

As a recent visitor to Adelaide (and the SteamRanger experience) I had
the pleasue of paying $40 for the taxi to get me there. I decided to
aviod the $40 return fare by leaving the train at Victor Harbour and
catching the bus from there back to Adelaide.
