SteamRanger runs from Mt Baker to Victor Harbour along the south coast.
They also run "The Cockle Train" as a shuttle between Goolwa and Victor.
SteamRanger moved up to Mt Barker when the Adelaide-Melbourne main line
went sg, there was talk of dual guaging betwen Belair and Mt Barker Jcn,
but it proved cheaper to build a new facility on the remaining bg line.
In the long run it may prove the wrong decision as Adelaide people are
curious, and see the drive to Mt Barker as an enourmous trek (it's about
35km and takes 25 mins from the center of the city). --
