There is no easy access between Keswick (TransAdelaide) and ARPT. You have
to walk along a road bridge.

Exactly. Adelaide Station is not really suitable for reversing trains in
the same way Keswick is. 26 car trains could be handled in the same way as
in Sydney.

The IP is in Adelaide during peak time in both directions. Trying to
handle a 26 car train at Adelaide would be a nightmare.

I think the answer would be improving access to (and _at_) Keswick, and
improving passenger education by making sure they know that ARPT is not
under the casino.

A useful addition might be a moving underground walkway between the
Keswick TransAdelaide station and ARPT. Another possibility could be
running a special TransAdelaide train from Adelaide to ARPT ~30 mins
before departure of the Overland, Ghan or IP.
