The Met worked that out with trams ages ago. They decided 48 seats (an A
class) every 8 minutes was better than 72 seats (a B2) every 12-15 minutes
on the Port Melbourne light rail. Pity they can't do the same with trains.
A 3 car Comeng every 15 minutes would be better than a 6 car every 30
minutes.
