Agreed, this should be made known.

And another option in the PM period ofter peak...

When I lived in Richmond (near Burnley Station), and I'd just missed a
train, I'd often catch any Western Suburbs train to Parliament as they
go counter-clockwise through the loop. Then I'd simply cross from
Platfrom 3 (North Melbourne group trains) to Platform 4 (Burnley Group
trains) and get the next clockwise loop Burnley train.

I used to employ the reverse when in the weekday post-peak AM period
when the were few (if any) Flinders St direct trains - to Parliament
platform 4, then a train from platform 3 direct to Flinders St.

These methods often got me to work on time when I'd decided on a just
a _few_ more minutes sleep.... :-)
