I was travelling on the 9.28am (I think - I joined at
fassifern) and on arrival at Gosford,, was held for the
following stopping service to catch up with it, and then
coupled to for an 8 car train.
At aprox 11.50 we departed Gosford, crossed to the down and
ran wrong road through to Hawkesbury River, stopping all
stations.
Attival at Central was 13.15 aprox, over 1 hour late.
The nortghbound Explorer was held at Hawkesbury River, in
the Up refuge, as there was a intercity service in the down
platform, with anoth down service held further out.
Quite an interesting run of events.
