I agree with Roderick, everyone has submitted fantastic gen on the
subject... particularily KRELL.

I cannot start to thank you personally but assuming that you appreciate
EE loco's here a few web-sites to keep you away from mischief!

Dedicated to the wonderful but now sadly withdrawn English Electric
class 40, operated by BR from 1959-86. 6 have survivied into
preservation, two are operated by the Class 40 Preservation Society
(CFPS) of which I am a founder member.

They are generally operated on the East Lancashire Railway in the north
of England, (although they occasionally holiday on other private lines.
The ELR is generally considered to be one of the top preserved railways
in
the UK and certainly the most "diesel friendly", retaining a "top shed"
of examples of most of the major diesel classes to operate in the UK
since the late 50's. Amazingly, they all see active service (except when
we have broken them). They operate big (and sometimes little) steam
locos as well.

CFPS link is ;-

East Lancashire Railway site giving details of loco's scheduled to work,
timetables etc, is :-

links to other sites for EE's and european rail gen in particular are

If you need any specific gen or info please feel free to mail me as
above, in the meantime keep the EE gen flowing... and thanks a lot.
