Hi David,
As far as the current suburban train stabling points are concerned, they
are:
Lilydale, Ringwood, Upper Ferntree Gully, Glen Waverley, Pakenham,
Dandenong, Frankston, Carrum, Sandringham, Epping, Macleod,
Greenborough, Eltham, Upfield, Broadmeadows, Melbourne Yard Stabling
Sidings (next to North Melbourne), Macaulay Stabling Sidings, North
Melbourne Stabling Sidings (near Moonee Pond Creek), Newport, Werribee,
St Albans.
Obviously there are a number of stabling sidings that are used from time
to time, they include:
Camberwell, Victoria Park, and Gowrie.
Finally, there are a few stabling sidings to be developed (various
tenders have been advertised):
Burnley and Bayswater.
